About UGC Board
UGC is the acronym for University Grants Commission. It is the statutory organisation in the country originally established in 1956. The head quarters of this commission located in New Delhi and 6 other regional centres. Every year, the commission will organise NET Exam for two times.
Every year, the UGC commission will organise the NET exam for all the aspirants in the country. Likewise every year, this year, the commission has released an official notification for the exam. This year, a total of 7.94 lakh aspiring contenders have written the NET examination. Among them 4500 candidates took the Yoga examination too. The board has organised the examination in about 400 examination centres in and across the country. In the month of April, the board will conduct JEE examination for the aspirants. In fact, UGC and CSIR have organised the NET examination in three different parts on the exam paper. In the first part, the candidates need to answer 50 out of 60 multiple choice or objective-based questions. Each question carries 2 marks. The second part comprises of 50 questions and 2 marks for each question. Finally, the 3rd part in the question paper comprises of 75 questions that carries 2 marks for each question. In a bid to calculate the marks without any mistake, the Government has launched a new process namely digital scoring. The Government has rolled out this new process this year for the students. The commission has organised the NET exam in about 400 exam centres in and across the country.
